Long Island Classic Restoration

Long Island Classic Restorations is located at 566 Route 109 in Farmingdale New York. It has been in business since 1982 and is also known as Cap-A-Radiator. The owner of L.I. Classic Restorations (Bill Carberry) has been passionate about classic cars since he was a teenager. In fact he still owns both his first and second cars. The first is a 1954 Chevrolet Bel-Air purchased in 1977 for $300 and the second is a 1959 Ford Galaxie Fairlane 500 bought in 1978 for $50.
   Bill has performed numerous restorations and upgrades including body off chassis, engine rebuilding, brake and electrical upgrading, bodywork, air conditioning installations, re-wiring, welding and custom fabrications. Bill believes in rebuilding a classic car in such a way that it can be safely and reliably driven on todays roads whenever the owner feels the need.
